Sethu’s The Saga of Muziris was launched at the Kochi Muziris Biennale site by Sudershan Shetty, Curator of the Biennale. PJ Cherian, former Director, KCHR and Leader of the Pattanam Excavations presided over the function and Nirmalkanti Bhattacharya, former Regional Secretary of the Sahitya Akademi and former Director of the National Book Trust, Delhi presented the book to the audience. The occasion was made even more special with the chance arrival of Eliahu Bezalel, a first generation Jew who had migrated to Israel from Kerala, and who also is a character in the book. He was presented with the first copy of the book at the release function. BLD
